It's game over when you successfully convince yourself that there is absolutely no solution to your problem.
You will look for all the evidence to support your new conviction.
You will actually stumble upon a solution, but convince yourself that it's not a solution, then go on to reinforce your convictions that it won't work.
That's game over.
There is a way out; don't cleverly convince yourself there isn't.
Don't give up; look for at least one person who has made it with your same disadvantages or worse.
Really try and reach out to them for help.
By help, I mean:
this is my goal.
It looks very similar to yours.
Here are the obstacles I see.
However, based on your experience, what is the real first obstacle I need to overcome to move forward, and
how do you recommend I do it?
Just 'Help me' isn't actionable.
Once again:
Don't convince yourself it's over.
It never is until the final judgment.
